Armen Nalbandian is an avant-garde and experimental composer and pianist whose practice seeks to expand the possibilities of sound and performance through spontaneous group composition, prepared piano and Fender Rhodes, and electronically layered improvisations.

With a prolific recording discography, Armen has collaborated with several notable musicians including Chris Corsano, Jeff Parker, Alex Cline, Steve Lehman, Han Bennink, Uchihashi Kazuhisa, and Makigami Koichi, whilst pursuing multidisciplinary collaborations with writers, visual and performance artists.

Armen Nalbandian(アルメン・ナルバンディアン)は、前衛的且つ実験的な作曲家/ピアニストであり、自発的なグループ作曲、プリペアドピアノ、フェンダー・ローズ、電子的にレイヤーされた即興演奏などを通じて、サウンドとパフォーマンスの可能性を広げようとしている。

Chris Corsano, Jeff Parker, Alex Cline, Steve Lehman, Han Bennink,、内橋和久、巻上公一ら著名なミュージシャンとコラボレーションを行う一方、作家/映像作家/パフォーマンス・アーティストらと多くの学問領域に渡るコラボレーションを行っている。
